The sense of touch

This very interesting project presents the human senses in an original and attractive manner that can be easily understood even by those with no knowledge of medical science. These stamps will encourage people to think about this aspect of the human body and prompt them to learn more about it. The stamps are also very attractive for collectors.

As a doctor and a professor of anatomy at the University of Maribor’s Faculty of Medicine, I am very pleased that this project of Pošta Slovenije has come to fruition. I am sure that these stamps will also prove informative to the general public and encourage them to find out more about the human senses and how they work.

I hope that future projects will present many of the other secrets of the human body in a similar manner.
